St. Justin Parish is gifted in the number of organizations serving others. Through their commitment, they help to build this community of believers.
A commitment shared by the Ladies Guild, Stablemates, Guadalupe Society and the entire community is the Monsignor Mentasti Scholarship Award for a deserving eighth grade student who will be attending a Catholic high school. The link to the application form is on the left of this page.
In their document Called and Gifted for the Third Millennium, the US Catholic Bishops wrote:
"Above all, people long for community in their families and in their parishes. Both are basic and essential to living a fully Christian life. Both communities...are challenged: to life faithfully, particularly when changes occur in comfortable patterns; to be life-giving by being welcoming and caring for children and by reaching out in service to the needy...By living with these challenges and humbly engaging them, vital Christian communities can be forged."
